Hide Search Box, Cortana & Task View from Taskbar

Windows 10 has been optimized in so many cases, they want their users to follow the best and easiest workflow, and they add features to make Windows 10 a better operating system. But here we have three types of users one is an expert and one is a semi-expert, and the last one is a learner.

Experts follow the easy and quickly accessible way to interact with the elements or the features. So that helps them to do things very quickly, but some are very conventional; they go through the step-by-step process and that’s a good way to learn and practice.

Here we are talking about hiding the search box and task view from Taskbar.

You might ask why you want to hide them or use the extra features that Windows 10 has provided to us.

My answer and opinion will be sometimes it seems, that it is widely populated by so many icons and boxes, which is very frustrating.

So here are the easy steps either to enable them or disable them; you can follow these.

Step 1: Right-click on the Taskbar >> You will be seeing the Search Box option; you just have to point it there and tick the box whatever you want to do.

Now to hide the Task view button and Cortana icon from Taskbar, it’s the same process.

Step 1: Right-click on the taskbar and look for the Task view / Cortana and uncheck that.
