Differentiate Between Production and Productivity

Production:

1. It is the conversion of input into an output.
2. It is expressed as MKS unit or CGS unit or in numbers.
3. The production is done to fulfil the consumer requirement.

Productivity:

1. It is the ratio of outputs the system to input employed in the system.
2. It is a dimensionless number.
3. It is the management technique to measure and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the production system.
